Post No. 283: "My Point Of View On," Part 4 — Household Cleaning

(Image from Clipart Panda)

These blog posts with the 'header' titles, "My Point Of View On," Parts 1 - 26, are originally from my "Paul Whiting — Math Magician" blog, which is my blog with the fewest posts. So, I decided to not group posts in this series with similar topics from that blog (unlike the blog post series with similar topics from my other blogs, which I republished on my "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blog), because I wanted this series of posts in their chronological order, representing the way they were originally published.

My Point Of View On...
Household Cleaning

My Point Of View No. 1: If possible, clean as you go, that way your domicile always stays clean—and you don't have to stress about the deeper cleanings, such as special guests visiting, special occasions, holidays, or apartment inspections (if that applies to you).

My Point Of View No. 2: If possible, clean early for the deeper cleanings—such as special guests, special occasions, holidays, or apartment inspections (if that applies to you)—so that your domicile is clean and ready ahead of time.

My Point Of View No. 3: If possible, treat visitors who are expected to visit your domicile like they are going to be a special guest, or like they are going to be the landlord inspecting your apartment (if that applies to you). That way, you can keep up with your deeper cleaning on a more regular basis and stay in practice for the real thing.

My Point Of View No. 4: If possible, treat yourself in your own domicile like you are a special guest who is expected to visit—because you are one.

My Point Of View No. 5: If possible, live by the motto "cleaner than it was before" with regard to doing your household cleaning, because getting everything "perfectly clean" isn't always realistic; however, it is definitely more realistic to get everything "cleaner that it was before!"

"I maybe say too much about how life really is!"

My Writing About How I Live By The Motto "Cleaner Than It Was Before": I live by the motto "cleaner than it was before" with regard to doing my household cleaning, because getting everything "perfectly clean" isn't always realistic; however, it is definitely more realistic to get everything "cleaner that it was before!" –Paul Whiting (written October 1st, 2016, revised October 2nd, 2016, revised July 8th, 2022, revised August 24th, 2022 and revised August 26th, 2022)

My Writing Notes:

The reason that I wrote this prose can be summed up with the following statement: "If possible, clean as you go, that way your domicile always stays clean...and live by the motto 'cleaner than it was before' with regard to doing your household cleaning."

And this prose was also published on my "Paul Whiting — Math Magician" blog (please see the hyperlink below for the blog), since I feel that the message in this prose applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Paul Whiting — Math Magician."

This prose was written in Portland, Oregon.
