Post No. 100: To The Ones I Love, Part 9 — An Everyday Hero Lies In You

(Image from Creativity Influencers)

An Everyday Hero Lies In You

When everything is gone, which
you thought could never be taken;
And the beliefs, which you guarded
like children, have up and left you;

And your world of certainty has
spiraled into an abyss of unknowns;
And you feel so alone, because no
one could possibly know your pain;

Remember, that you are never alone,
although you may be on your own!
You are positively surrounded by
Heroes, who touch your life every day.

You have known them since childhood,
or—perhaps—since just this morning!
These are your Everyday Heroes, who
are forever calling you to where love is.

Everyday Heroes come to you in more
ways than you can possibly imagine.
They come to remind you where love
does—and even does not—exist!

They come to confront you in your
fear and to hold you in your love.
For, it is only when a fear is faced
that love can be held in its place!

To these Heroes, you too are a Hero—
and are here to remind them, as well.
For, we are not victims who have struggled,
but Everyday Heroes who have persevered.

And we have chosen our heroism as the way
to remember who we are. So remember,
you are always in the presence of An
Everyday Hero—since you are one!

My Writing Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: This poem was inspired by the song "Hero" written, and performed, by Mariah Carey, which is one of my favorite Mariah Carey songs—because, in my heart of hearts, I am my own hero! (Please see the hyperlink below for the video.)

By the way, this poem is also a rewrite of a poem that I wrote to help my uncle that is titled, "Calling All Angels," which is published on this blog. (Please see "Calling All Angels-Style Poem" in labels for the poem.)

And this poem was also published on my "Three Dark Horses" and "Small All White in the Forest" blogs (please see the hyperlinks below for the blogs), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through "Three Dark Horses" and "Small All White in the Forest." Plus, I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message I am trying to convey through my new "The Oneness Of God" spiritual practice!

This poem was written in Portland, Oregon.

Post No. 098: To The Ones I Love, Part 7 — I Had A Vision Of Love

I Had A Vision Of Love

Kind, Sweet Destiny
Carried Me Through To "The One"
Who's Waiting For Me!

My Writing Notes:

The reason that I wrote this poem can be summed up with the following statement: This poem was inspired by the song "Vision Of Love" written by Mariah Carey and Ben Margulies, and performed by Mariah Carey, which is one of my favorite Mariah Carey songs—because, in my heart of hearts, I am a romantic fool! And "Vision Of Love" was the first Mariah Carey song the that I ever heard. (Please see the hyperlink below for the video.)

Plus, when I refer to "The One," I am referring to The First Being, or The First Female, who is Karma! And I truly believe that literally every soul is a God and/or a Goddess as The One!

And The One is the First Being who Created Physics through Mathematics and who Created the Process Of Evolution through Science, by which we are all here in a Field Of Gravity experiencing our individual lives as Souls, so that we may have a Vision Of Love...

And this poem was also published on my "Small All White in the Forest" blog (please see the hyperlink below for the blog), since I feel that the message in this poem applies to the message that I am trying to convey through "Small All White in the Forest."

This poem was written in Portland, Oregon.

"Poetry is using the fewest words possible in order to describe all that is possible to describe." –Paul Whiting [June 1st, 2022]

My poems that are Haiku in their style—within which one stanza is composed of three lines, where each line has words containing five syllables, seven syllables and five syllables, respectively—are a lot more like Senryū poems in that the topic of these poems is typically about people, rather than the topic of these poems being about nature, as is usually the case in classic Haiku poems. And that is why I call these types of poems "Haiku-style." –Paul Whiting [September 19th, 2023]
